RAJOURI: A comprehensive three-day training programme for enumerators and supervisors of Tehsil Rajouri was conducted today, marking a significant step toward ensuring a meticulous and error-free national counting exercise. The intensive sessions were conducted under the direct supervision and guidance of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and the Tehsildar Rajouri, who also serves as the In-charge for Census operations. The programme focused primarily on the technical and logistical nuances of the upcoming census to ensure the ground force is fully prepared for the task ahead.
The training was specifically designed to equip field staff with the necessary skills to handle modern digital data collection tools and navigate the complexities of door-to-door enumeration. Through hands-on workshops, mock drills, and interactive Q&A sessions regarding the census schedule, the programme aimed to ensure 100% accuracy in data entry and demographic profiling. A large number of enumerators and supervisors from various zones of the Tehsil participated actively throughout the session.
Participants expressed deep satisfaction with the quality of instruction, noting that the clarity of the modules helped demystify the digital platforms being introduced for the first time in many areas. One participating supervisor remarked that the well-structured nature of the training addressed practical field challenges and provided the confidence needed to execute their duties efficiently.
In his concluding remarks, the Tehsildar Rajouri lauded the dedication of the trainees and reiterated the administration’s commitment to a seamless process.
