Shobhit Saksena IPS apprehended 01 Hardcore Criminal involved in various criminal/anti national activities and booked under Public Safety Act 1978( PSA).On dated 26/04/2025 Police team of PP Nagri led by IC PP Nagri PSI Ravinder Thakur under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh & SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Chib apprehended one Hardcore Criminal namely 1. Jai Kumar @Sonu S/O Vijay Kumar R/o Mirpur Jagoo Tehsil Nagri District Kathua who is hardcore Criminal involved in various criminal/Anti National activities(from Past Few Years) and against whom 11 FIR’s has been regisetered againt him at various police stations.
In order to prevent the illegal activities within the district, “Dossier” was prepared against the accused person and sent to the District Magistrate Kathua for his detention under Public Safety Act- 1978 (PSA). Accordingly District Magistrate Kathua issued a detention warrant against the accused person under the Public Safety Act 1978. Accordingly, the warrant has been executed today and he has been lodged in District Jail Rajouri to curtail his illegal activities. police is committed to make the society crime free and this act was appreciated by the peoples from all walks of life including Locals of the Kathua district.
