Baramulla, Nov 27 (TRT ): A female body was recovered from the River Jhelum in Baramulla on Thursday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, locals spotted the body floating in the river and immediately informed Police Station Baramulla. A police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the body with the help of locals.
The deceased has been identified as Shameema Begum, wife of Arshid Ahmad Malla, a resident of Khanpora, Baramulla, aged around 43 years.
They said that, the body has been shifted to GMC Baramulla for medico-legal formalities.
Further investigation has been initiated
