Jammu, Apr 27: Aroof Khan (The Rajouri times ) A second-year MBBS student was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Boys Hostel of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, triggering shock and grief across the campus.Officials informed news agency that the deceased student, a resident of Harni, Mendhar, was discovered hanging inside his hostel room earlier today.Upon receiving the information, police teams promptly arrived at the scene and took custody of the body. Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the student’s death.Senior officials said that while preliminary observations suggest suicide, all angles are being explored, and a detailed probe is underway. Meanwhile, the student’s sudden death has left fellow students and faculty members in deep mourning.
