Bandipora, March 6, 2025: In a significant action, the police in Bandipora have attached immovable property measuring 18 Kanals and 01 Marla, valued at approximately Rs 02 Crore 81 Lakh. This action pertains to six individuals implicated in Case FIR No 33/2022, which involves charges under Sections 121 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and Sections 18, 20, 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), along with Sections 2/3 of the Explosive Substances and Import and Export Control (E&IMCO) Act. The case was filed at the Police Station Bandipora.
The attached property includes land parcels located across various survey numbers. The details of the attached immovable property are as follows:
Land Measuring 2 Kanal 11 Marla under Survey No. 1392, 1394, 1458, 1461, 1377, belonging to Mohmad Anwar Mir (son of Gh Rasool Mir) of Harteng Mantrigam.
Land Measuring 03 Kanal 15 Marla under Survey No. 194, 195, 234, 388, 389, 8390, belonging to Ab Rashid Doie (son of Alif Din) of Ketson Aloosa.
Land Measuring 03 Kanal 09 Marla under Survey No. 182, 166, 164, 167343, 375, belonging to Sarfraz Ahmad (son of Mohmad Yousf) of Ketson Aloosa.
Land Measuring 01 Kanal 01 Marla under Survey No. 03, 04, 05, belonging to Mohmad Yousf Turk (son of Mohd Shamsudin Turk) of Ketson Aloosa.
Land Measuring 06 Kanal 10 Marla under Survey No. 3904, 2091, 2092, 39168, 2318, belonging to Mohmad Abdullah (son of Gh Ahmad Malik) of Aloosa.
Land Measuring 06 Kanal 06 Marla under Survey No. 2420, 2421, 2426, 2430, 2351, 2352, belonging to Farooq Ahmad (son of Mohmad Ramzan Ganie) of Aloosa.
The attachment proceedings were conducted by a police team under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters Bandipora, Sh. Latief Khan – JKPS, along with the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bandipora Police Station, the Incharge Police Post (IC PP) Aloosa, and the concerned Naib-Tehsildar. Revenue officials also participated in the process. The execution of the attachment was carried out in the presence of local residents from the concerned villages.
This action forms part of the police’s continued efforts to combat unlawful activities and ensure that individuals involved in criminal activities face appropriate consequences for their actions.
