Rajouri, (Bhat) 15.03.2024 : Neeta Ji Subash Chander Bose Manch Rajouri, a prominent socio-political organization, spearheaded by its members, including Sunil Gupta, President, Vivek Gupta, Sangeev Sharma, Secretary, Mushtaq Bhat, Pavinder Singh, Ajaz Shah, Mohinder Singh Dev Raj, and Sanjay Sharma, Councilor MCR Rajouri, convened a pivotal meeting with Sh. Atul Dullo, the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting was convened to address the pressing concerns and long-standing demands of the public in Rajouri.During the meeting, Neeta Ji Subash Chander Bose Manch Rajouri, represented by its members, submitted a comprehensive memorandum to Sh. Atul Dullo, highlighting various critical issues plaguing the region. The memorandum, a culmination of extensive deliberations and consultations with the local populace, underscored the urgency for immediate action on several fronts.Chief among the concerns raised was the dire need for the construction of a bridge from ITI Road to Andrkote Rajouri. This infrastructure project is deemed essential to alleviate the mounting traffic congestion in the area, providing much-needed relief to commuters and enhancing connectivity within the region.Furthermore, the memorandum emphasized the necessity for the construction of a Patwar Khana at the Tehsil Office Rajouri, a vital administrative requirement aimed at streamlining governance and enhancing public service delivery at the grassroots level.
Addressing the need for improved civic amenities, the memorandum also advocated for the utilization of abandoned government buildings to social welfare offices. By repurposing existing infrastructure, the initiative aims to bolster the delivery of essential social services to marginalized communities.Additionally, the deputation advocated for the creation of adequate parking spaces near Abdullah Bridge and the Power House in Rajouri. The provision of designated parking areas is crucial to mitigate traffic congestion and ensure the smooth flow of vehicular movement in these key areas.In response to the memorandum, Chief Secretary Atul Dullo acknowledged the gravity of the issues raised and assured the delegation of the government’s commitment to addressing them in a timely manner.
