Wanted Drug smuggler Rouf Ahmad of Sopore arrested; 65 grams of contraband Charas like substance recovered at Delina Baramulla during naka checking; Vehicle seized; Case registered
,May 25 2023: Police under the supervision of Sh. Sajjad Bukhari-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by PSI Rayees Ahmad, IC PP Delina arrested wanted Drug smuggler namely Rouf Ahmad Mir S/O Ghulam Hassan Mir R/O Model Town Sopore A top police officer told that during naka checking at Delina Baramulla who was coming in a vehicle Scorpio bearing registration number JK05B-1660 towards Baramulla and upon seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search 65 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. Vehicle was also seized on spot.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
