Parent teachers meet organized in all government schools in District Rajouri By councelling Cell. more then 1870 parents participated.
Rajouri: In all government school parent teachers meet was organized by the counseling cell Rajouri a unit of the directorate of school education Jammu. As per the annual calendar circulated by the directorate of school education Jammu one day meeting of parent teachers was organized in all the government schools in which the parents teachers and students participated and a healthy discussion was done on the topic orientation of parents .Parent-teacher meeting in a government school on the topic of parent orientation can be an important opportunity to promote effective communication and collaboration between parents and teachers. The purpose of the meeting can be to help parents understand the school’s expectations, policies, and procedures, as well as to provide them with information about their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Said the District counselor Sajad Bhat, who supervised the PTM at district level. He added that 4244 teachers, 1870 parents and 15171 students participated in the PTM
During the meeting, teachers can discuss the school’s curriculum and teaching methods, and how parents can support their child’s learning at home. They can also provide information about assessments, grading, and homework expectations, and answer any questions parents may have was discussed in the meetings which was organized in all 15 zones of the district .he added.
Mr sajad Bhat said that , In addition, the meeting can be an opportunity to discuss any concerns or issues that parents may have about their child’s education, such as behavior or academic performance. Teachers can offer advice and support to help parents address these issues, and work together to develop strategies to improve their child’s learning and overall well-being.
